    7 options for low-risk socialising

Even though the covid-19 pandemic is in its last throes, there is still a risk from the virus that we should be aware of when socialising. This means that when we meet up with friends we should take precautions, like wearing masks and social distancing, to ensure we stay safe while out and about.

We could also try meeting in low-risk ways. This means meeting up and doing activities which put us at less risk of spreading or getting the virus. We’ve been doing some research and have come up with seven different low-risk activities you could do with friends, once you buy Healgen antigen tests kits and test of course! To find out more, check them out below.

Go for a picnic in the park

Having a picnic in the park with your friends is a great way to socialise while also staying safe! Though possibly suited to the summer months (unless you want to wear a big coat while eating tiny sandwiches!), a picnic can offer you the space to socialise in a low-risk environment.

With the constant air flow of being outside, you’re at less risk of spread or contracting the virus and are therefore safer! So, pack up your hamper and your gingham blanket and head to your local park for a catch up.

    Backyard party

Why not host your own garden party? This is a great and low-risk way to have a party while the virus is still with us. Try not to fill up your garden too much and ensure there is enough space for everyone to breathe, then let the fun begin.

As with the picnic, the air flow of the outdoors can help you and your guests stay a little safer while socialising.

Go to your local farmer’s market

Meeting with friends and heading to your local farmers market is a fantastic way to shop local produce, support small businesses and stay safe while socialising! The outdoor setting allows for air flow making this a fun way to spend time with your nearest and dearest.

    Try some outdoor sports

Have you always wanted to try paddle boarding? Or maybe you wanted to go rock climbing but haven’t had the chance? Well, this is your chance to do it!

Outdoor activities like these are a really fun way to spend some time with those you may not have seen in a while, try something new, and keep yourself safe from the virus. So, why not take a look online and check out your local adventure space now?

    Head to boot camp

If you’re looking for a way to get your blood pumping but don’t want to venture into the gym yet, why not try an outdoor boot camp class? Many local personal trainers offer outdoor boot camp style classes where you work out in a safe and fun way.

While working out may not be your go-to idea for socialisation, this is a good opportunity to get some exercise, see your friends, and keep safe!

    Drive-in movies

During the pandemic, drive-in movie theatres were all the rage. The trend seems to have continued even now and we think this is a great way to meet up with friends.

After ensuring everyone in your car tests negative for Covid-19, you can then head to your local drive-in movie theatre and watch your favourite films while staying separate from other viewers.

    Go camping

Looking for a way to socialise all weekend? Why not try a camping adventure? Camping can mean getting away for the weekend and keeping yourself protected from other holidaymakers to stay safe from covid-19.

So, look up your local camping spot and pitch your tent for a weekend of roasting marshmallows and hiking with friends!
